Studio 44 Duckmanton: Terms and Conditions
To ensure the smooth operation of Studio 44 and provide an enjoyable experience for all members, we have established the following terms and conditions. We welcome your feedback, so please feel free to contact us if any aspect is unclear or concerning.
Membership Cancellation
To cancel your membership, a written notice of 30 days is required. It is the member's responsibility to cancel any direct debit arrangements with their bank. Please note that all fees collected are non-refundable.
Payment Obligations
Members who fail to meet their payment obligations may incur late fees and could be excluded from performances. In cases of overdue fees, external debt collection may be pursued at the member's expense.
Safety and Supervision
Studio 44 is not responsible for members outside their scheduled class times. Parents are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up of their children. In emergencies, please contact the studio immediately.
Code of Conduct
Respectful behaviour is expected from all members. Any instance of disrespect, bullying (physical, mental, emotional, or cyber), or defamation will be addressed immediately and may result in dismissal from the studio.
Lost Property
Studio 44 is not liable for any stolen or misplaced items. We advise against bringing valuable possessions to the studio.
Changes to Staffing and Policies
Studio 44 reserves the right to change instructors or schedules at any time. All choreography, costumes, and studio policies remain the intellectual property of Studio 44 and cannot be reproduced or sold without permission.
Uniform Policy
Wearing studio uniforms fosters a sense of belonging and identity. Uniforms can be purchased year-round, and a full price list is available on the DDC notice board. Please ensure that all items are clearly labeled to minimise lost property.
Fee Structure
- Monthly Fee: £29 per month.
- Additional Classes: £16 for each class after the first.
- Family Plan: Siblings and immediate family must be in the same household to share the same plan.
- Enrolment Fee: £20 per student (includes a DDC class T-shirt).
- Annual DDC Membership: £20 per child.
Payment Options:
- Monthly Payment: Class fees are due on the 1st of each month and collected automatically via GoCardless.
- Upfront Annual Payment: Receive a 15% discount when paying annually. Request an invoice from Daniel at hello@studio-44.co.uk.
Direct Debit Information
Direct Debit is a simple method for monthly fee payments. If you wish to stop attending, you must cancel your Direct Debit with your bank. All collected fees are non-refundable.
Failed Payments
If a Direct Debit is returned unpaid, GoCardless will attempt to collect the payment within five working days. If unsuccessful, a £5.00 administration fee will be applied, and a final attempt will be made.
Overdue Fees
Fees overdue by four weeks will incur a late fee of £10.00, and students will not be permitted to attend lessons. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us for support.
Refund Policy
All fees are collected in advance on a monthly basis, and your payment will remain consistent unless the number of classes changes. If you withdraw mid-month, you will still be charged for the entire month. Refunds are not issued for missed classes due to cancellations or public holidays, but alternative class options may be available.
